This story takes place in Wharton, Texas during two time periods. The first is 1999 when three teenagers are brutally murdered. The second is 2016 when Detective Roberts and amateur sleuth Harriot Marshall take on the task to solve the Millennium Murders and bring the perpetrators to justice.
